A self proclaimed happiness
Child-like joy
Fern fronts, peacock feathers
Gold, a child-spirit playmate
late night lover and
genie with a necklace made of glass beads
The hum in the darkness
and the cord vibrating in the silence
Tugging at my heart
Telling me to take off my shoes and feel the alabaster  floors of the palace,
to feel welcome
